How to Order a New Mobile Service - Connect
This guide will show you how to order a new mobile service in Connect.
1. Click on 'Ordering'

2. Click on 'Make an Order'

3. Click on 'Plans Only'

4. Select the relevant plan from your list of options and click on 'Order Now'

5. Select the relevant provisioning account (if there are options available)

6. Click on 'Type of SIM' and choose the relevant option. Note: if you have a blank SIM card, choose "Already Have Physical SIM"

7. Under the 'Service Fields' section include any relevant information such as Natural Account, Service Type, Service Description etc.
Note: if you have service custom fields configured in your portal relating to ordering, they will appear here.

8. In the 'Plan Features' section, review the available options and adjust the barring settings to enable or restrict the features you want for the service.

9. The Order Summary will capture the monthly plan costs

10. Click on Next

11. In the 'User to Assign' field, type in the name of the user you want to assign the service to.

12. If they exist in the portal, they will appear in the drop down.

13. Alternately, if you type in a User to assign the service to and the user does not exist, click on "Add a New User"

14. Fill in all the relevant details about the new user ie. First name, Last name and Cost Centre for a User with a 'Category' of 'Person'
or/
the Name and Cost Centre for a User with a 'Category' of 'Location' or 'Function'.

15. Click on 'Create'.

16. Type in the SIM card (if you chose in the "Type of SIM" field "Already Have Physical SIM")

17. Click on 'Assign'

18. In this page you can also assign a device to the Service and User. Click on 'Add Existing Device/s'

19. Type in the IMEI number to find the device

20. Click on 'Assign'

21. Click on 'Go To Checkout'

22. The next page summarises the order so you can review it before submitting.

23. Add in any Purchase Order, or Customer Reference details, as well as any Order Comments for your MSP under the Order references panel (optional).

24. Click on 'Submit Order'.
