🎧Video and Audio
Video Summary: This video will demonstrate how to delete a cost centre from your portal via the Service Allocation page.
Timeline Notes: The below will highlight notable times in the video with additional context:
-
0.25 - When searching for a cost centre, it is always important to check the cost centre path and levels it is under to ensure you are removing the correct cost centre. As you could have 2 or more cost centres under different levels that have the same name.
-
0.45 - Currently you can only delete cost centres on the bottom most level of the hierarchy they are under, also known as a the leaf node cost centre. To delete a cost centre higher up the levels, you need to delete all cost centres under it before hand.
-
1.08 - ''Unallocated'' is a default system cost centre that stores all services, users or devices that are not currently allocated to another cost centre. It cannot be deleted.
Please Note: Cost Centre deletion is locked to the Portal Admin permission role, if you cannot see the ''create/update/delete'' buttons on the page, you do not currently have this permission. Please speak to your Bluewater administrator to have your permissions updated if you require this function.
